For The Love of aPooch!
That's how it all started for Ruff Ruff Bakery.
I first saw Rusty's picture on Petfinder.com and immediatelystarted to laugh at this cute funny blond face with the huge blacknose.
When we met he reminded me of, Clem Kiddlehoffer, with his funnylittle walk.
Well, we bonded right away.

Rusty was not blessedwith great eyes.  By the age of 1 ½ he had cataract surgeryand within 2 more years had to have the same eye removed due toglaucoma.
Today Rusty is happy and pain free. 
Now he winks at everyone he meets while giving them a great tailwag.

During Rusty'srecovery from his eye surgery I wanted to make him somethingspecial to use as training rewards while he adjusted to hisvision loss.

I started to developrecipes with natural ingredients that added great taste without anyharmful chemicals or additional fat content.   Afterbaking, I dehydrate the treats to remove any excess moisture, thusproviding better shelf life, excellent taste, and perfecting a lineof treats that was good enough for my little guy and hispals. 

Not only does Rustylove the treats, (Lovin Liver & Bacon is his favorite), but theneighborhood pooches do too!

Thus began, Ruff RuffBakery.
