Ministry of the Arts is a ministry sponsored by the Congregation of St. Joseph., IL. We are located in the LaGrange Park, IL. Center, and came into being a few years after our annual Calendar was first advertised on a one-page flyer in 1986. By 1994 there were cards, music and sculptures published in a "catalog" format, and we began to experience a growing ministry.
Our Call Center (800-354-3504) is located on the 5th floor of the Center where the staff enjoys taking your calls and helping you with information. Fulfillment (Shipping) is housed on the lower level be assured that your purchase receives great care. Many of our staff are local folks who felt drawn to what was happening here and decided this was a good place to be. We are also blessed to have retired Sisters collating cards and assembling products such as our Prayer Jars with skill and care.
Joseph's Corner, our gift shop is staffed by volunteers who we so much appreciate they too are part of this family. They've courageously learned computers and provide friendly, helpful service. All catalog products are offered in the shop plus a nice section of books. Our address is 1515 W. Ogden Avenue in LaGrange Park, Illinois.

Most of our printed products are made right here at St. Joseph Press. That allows us to offer custom imprinting and personalization. We mat and frame everything ourselves and also make the jewelry. Sculptures are made locally and some have finishes hand-painted by Sisters. Art and music studios are on the 6th floor
Within this workplace we are blessed with a "circle of unity" . all the parts work together to create this ministry: artists, writers, editors, coordinators, operators, shippers, finance, administration, volunteers, printers and You, our customers. For you see, everyday we speak with you, read your letters, share your dreams and know a little of how this ministry is being used in your life, and we are filled with gratitude.
We encourage and affirm creativity in ourselves and all persons.
Our mission of unity brings us in our time to a deeper awareness of our communion with God and all creation.
Through the arts we contemplate and express the unity and holiness of all creation, and the heights and depths of the human heart in response to the great mysteries of existence. We affirm the power and prophecy of the arts and believe the arts to be an important ministry for hope and healing in a critical moment of world transformation.
