This handcrafted mahogany wood model is an extremely beautiful replica of the Grumman OV-1 Mohawk complete with display stand. This model is currently only available thru myself and one other supplier. These were handcrafted and made to the exact specifications of the real thing, extremely well detailed and in very limited quantities so don't miss out. The Mohawk is an armed military observation and attack aircraft, designed for battlefield surveillance and light strike capabilities. It is of twin turboprop configuration, and carried two crewmembers with side by side seating. The Mohawk was intended to operate from short, unimproved runways in support of Army maneuver forces. This is not some cheap wood toy, each model takes an average of 18 hrs to complete and is coated with 3 coats of polyurethane for a super high gloss finish. You will not find a better more detailed model than this.
