From the magical world of ancient Celtic lore come four stories focusing on the Fianna, that famous band of warriors led by the mighty Fionn Mac Cumhaill, whose heroic exploits have captured the imaginations of listeners and readers down through the centuries.

In these four stories we follow Fionn and his comrades into the dangerous enchanted palace; travel with them to the land under the sea to rescue their friends from the spell of the Giolla Deacair; and see them outwit the vengeful widow Ailne and her magician brother. In the last story, Fionn’s son Oisín follows his bride to Tir na nÓg, the Land of Eternal Youth.
