This is the lighter assembly that goes into the center console area. Just around the shifter or if you have a extension to your center console it may have this also. Picture shows two units, one assembled and one unassembled. If your lighter doesn't work, first check your fuses, then check the lighter itself. You can hold the lighter down to see if it gets warm or not. If not then the assembly is bad. If it gets hot then it is the lighter itself and has burnt out. Most of the time it is the assembly. This is just for one unit as they are sold individually. The lighter can be found in the store also and is sold separately. Part is used but in great condition and guaranteed. Fits 79-87 Jaguars
