This is a vent which gets its air from a flexible tube that runs within the two front
fenders. This tube starts from the front of the fender and runs towards the front
doors but down into the side of the cabin where the front two persons feet would
be. Located under the glove box on the passengers side and under the Steering
Wheel on the Drivers side of the Jaguar car. Found in series 1, series 2 and
series 3 Jaguars. Primarily in Jaguar models of XJ6, XJS and XJ12. For Jaguars
manufactured in years 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976,
1977, 1978, 1979,1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. If you
