Hobbico AquaCraft U-16 Miss Elam Plus Hydroplane.
Designed by Jerry Dunlap, 10 time National Champion
and a NAMBA and APBA Hall of Famer.

FEATURES: Hull: Constructed of fiberglass painted in three colors, MaxAccess
hull design provides wide-open access to all components including
the hex drive coupler, plywood formers and foam flotation sections
provide strength and rigidity
Easy-on Cowl Lock System-push forward to release, push backward to
lock
Engine: .18 cu in (3cc) Aquacraft (made by O.S. Max) HCAG1147, with
pull start, glow plug, dual ball bearing supported crankshaft, two
needle rotary carburetor, ABC liner construction, water cooled head
with water pickup in rudder, 2-year limited warranty
Header and Tuned Pipe: Natural finish aluminum
Radio: AquaCraft (made by Futaba) 2-channel AM pistol grip with
steering and throttle trim and reverse, dual rate knob, charge
jack, battery indicator and two SX-100 standard servos
Radio Box: Molded plastic with rubber seal and waterproof on/off
switch
Fuel Tank: 6.1oz (180cc) flip top with filter
Propeller: FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) injection molded Y535

Carburetor Settings:
Needle Valve: 2-1/2 turns out from fully closed (factory set)
High Speed Needle: Open 1/8 turn at a time to find setting where
engine barely runs-this is normal during break-in process

COMMENTS: To launch boat, place in water pushing with a forward motion.
Do not sit or drop boat onto water surface. Doing so will cause
propeller cavitation and boat will not move forward.

This boat is designed to be raced in a clockwise circuit and can
perform right turns at high speed. Left turns MUST be done at a
VERY slow speed with plenty of room. Turning left at high speed
will flip the boat.
