DESCRIPTION:Pipe Insulation Supports are speedy and convenient wood dowel spacers for pipe insulation at hanger locations. The wood dowel is adhered to a PVC disc, providing a one-piece support system with a built in vapor barrier. The PVC Disc meets a 25/50 Flame/Smoke rating.

PURPOSE:Pipe Insulation Supports are used to prevent the compression of pipe insulation at pipe hanger points. These supports are inserted at the bottom part of the insulation to allow the pipe to rest on the hanger while the insulation is left untouched.

DIRECTIONS:Simply cut a 1" round hole in the pipe insulation where the pipe would rest on the hanger. Insert the support and simply tape over the PVC Disc with ASJ tape.

Supports come in either 1", 1-1/2", and 2" sizes depending on the thickness of the insulation used.
