Access to your information is controlled with a very strict internal procedure. After 50 years in the restaurant industry we maintain policies on the proper physical security of all our records. We have a very closely watched separation of the workplace. We have a confirmation email process in place that you will receive and be able to respond to if your order has any problems or was not ordered by you. This is one way we avoid credit card fraud. When you order from Lindey’s (theplaceforsteak.com) for the first time you will fill out all the information needed and only the specific information needed to satisfy your request. Any information you provide is in the strictest of confidence along with your transactions thru our website. The information that will be reqested is: First Name, Last Name a Password of your choosing. Your email, company (if applicable) address, telephone number and promo code if applicable and your Credit Card information. At Lindey’s General Store we do not, under any circumstance, sell trade or release any of the information given to us. You will not receive any telemarketing calls from Lindey’s General Store or any other third party telemarketing company. Spam: You will never receive any spam emails from Lindey’s General Store. When you order you will receive important emails. One will be an Order Notification email and when we ship you will receive a shipment Notification email. Also you we receive a tracking number from Fed Ex. In these emails you will find your order details, shipping schedules, and they contain information on when you can expect the delivery of your order. If you use anti-spam settings in your email account, make sure to add info@theplaceforsteak.com to your address list when ordering. This is the only way we can assure that you will receive all the info stated above. Lindey’s General Store is respectful of your time and privacy. We do not have a news letter that you will be bombarded with two or three times a month. We will however let you know of any specials or promotions going on during the course of the year. If one wishes not to receive such promotions or specials. You may at any time send us an email to: info@theplaceforsteak.com with “unsubscribe” in the subject line. Lindey’s General Store will never sell any emails to third party companies! How do we handle emails sent to customer service at info@theplaceforsteak.com? We read every email that comes to us. We will try to respond within minutes of its receipt (sometime, however, we may need 2-3 business days to respond). We only save messages and/or email addresses from your messages for specific reason.
