Senseo® combines a unique brewing method from Philips with convenient coffee pods from Douwe Egberts containing different blends of roast and ground coffee. Together they ensure you only get the very best in flavor and aroma from your coffee. You can also use Folgers and Millstone coffee pods to expand your choices.

Uniquely designed with similarities to an espresso machine, this coffeemaker features a 1450-watt boiler that brews a 4-ounce cup of coffee in just 30 seconds, or two 4-ounce cups or one 8-ounce mug in 60 seconds. Because the machine uses pre-measured coffee pods, the system is hassle-free, easy to clean, and guarantees a flavorful, fresh brew each time.

Two pod holders are included: a shallow holder that holds one coffee pod for one cup, and a deeper holder that holds two pods for two cups (or one 8-ounce mug). After filling the removable reservoir with fresh water, insert the pods and lock the lid into place. A simple push of the "on/off" button and either of the one- or two-cup buttons starts the brewing process. You can brew up to five 4-ounce cups on one reservoir of water.

The unit's stand-by function enables brewing another fresh cup of coffee anytime & its automatic shut-off ensures that the appliance automatically switches itself off after one hour.
